Hawaiian Baby Woodrose Hawaiian baby woodrose (Argyreia nervosa) is a flowering plant native to tropical areas of India, Nepal, and the Philippines. It is a member of the Convolvulaceae family and related to the common flower morning glory. Hawaiian baby woodrose is known for its large, heart-shaped leaves and purple flowers. The seeds of the plant contain lysergic acid amide, which is similar in structure to LSD. It has been used in traditional medicine for its purported analgesic, and hallucinogenic effects. Due to the potential safety concerns with the medicinal use Hawaiian baby woodrose, its use is generally not recommended.

  • Rufinamide is used with other medication(s) to control seizures in people who have Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (a severe form of epilepsy that begins during childhood and causes several types of seizures, behavioral disturbances, and developmental delays). Rufinamide is in a class of medications called anticonvulsants. It works by decreasing abnormal excitement in the brain.
