Cajeput Oil Cajeput oil is an essential oil that is extracted from the leaves, twigs, and branches of the cajeput tree (Melaleuca cajuputi), which is native to Southeast Asia. It has a strong, camphor-like scent and is often used in aromatherapy and natural remedies for a variety of ailments. Cajeput oil is purported to have antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and pain-relieving properties, and is used to treat a variety of conditions, including respiratory infections, muscle and joint pain, and skin irritation. It is also used as a natural insect repellent and to treat lice and other parasites.
