Myrrh Myrrh is a gum resin produced by certain trees of the genus Commiphora. Myrrh has a warm, and slightly bitter aroma, and has been used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of conditions, including wounds, infections, and digestive disorders. It has also been used as a natural remedy for sore throat, cough, and other respiratory problems. It is commonly utilized in dietary supplements, essential oils, tinctures, incense, and perfumes.
