1-epiandrosterone Overview

1-epiandrosterone 1-epiandrosterone is a naturally occurring steroid hormone found in humans, as well as in other mammals. It is a metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) and is produced in the adrenal glands, gonads, and brain. Despite its structural similarity to testosterone, 1-epiandrosterone has weak androgenic activity. It has been investigated for its potential role in various physiological processes, including its effects on mood, cognition, and metabolism. Some research suggests that 1-epiandrosterone may have potential as a dietary supplement for improving body composition and athletic performance, although more studies are needed to fully understand its effects and mechanisms of action.
