Theoretically, fennel might increase levels of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
In vitro research suggests that fennel inhibits CYP3A4 enzyme activity. This effect has not been reported in humans.

Fennel Overview
Fennel is a plant species in the carrot family and native to the Mediterranean region. Fennell seeds are often used as a spice, and other parts as food.
Fennel has a distinctive, sweet, licorice-like flavor and is often used in cooking to add flavor to dishes such as sauces, salads, and baked goods. It is used in traditional medicine as a good source of vitamins and minerals, such as potassium, beta-carotene and vitamin C. It has also been used to treat a variety of conditions, including digestive issues, respiratory problems, and skin conditions.
Macitentan Overview

Macitentan is used to manage the symptoms of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; high blood pressure in the vessels that carry blood to the lungs). Macitentan is in a class of medications called endothelin receptor antagonists. It works by stopping the action of endothelin, a natural substance that causes blood vessels to narrow and prevents normal blood flow in people who have PAH.
