5-Deca zol is classified as an anabolic androgenic steroid under the United States Designer Anabolic Steroid Control Act (DASCA), making its addition to dietary supplements illegal. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) also prohibits its use. When taken orally, it is used to increase testosterone levels, improve physical performance, enhance energy, aid in exercise recovery, promote muscle growth, heighten sexual arousal and function, prevent erectile dysfunction, reduce weight, decrease abdominal obesity, and improve well-being. However, its use, whether orally or through injections, is potentially unsafe, as it can disrupt hormonal balance and lead to adverse effects such as reduced fertility, gynecomastia (in men), hair loss, acne, changes in behavior, hepatotoxicity, and increased risk of heart disease.
