Hyssop Overview
Hyssop is a perennial herb native to the Mediterranean region and parts of Asia. It is a member of the mint family and has a pungent, slightly bitter flavor. It is commonly used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of ailments, such as coughs, colds, digestive issues, and respiratory problems. It is also used in aromatherapy and as a natural insect repellent.
Hyssop is most commonly consumed as a tea, but it is available in capsule and tablet dosage forms as well.
Lactulose Overview

Lactulose is a synthetic sugar used to treat constipation. It is broken down in the colon into products that pull water out from the body and into the colon. This water softens stools. Lactulose is also used to reduce the amount of ammonia in the blood of patients with liver disease. It works by drawing ammonia from the blood into the colon where it is removed from the body.
