Benfotiamine
Benfotiamine is a synthetic derivative of thiamine (vitamin B1) with enhanced bioavailability. It is often used as a dietary supplement to support overall health and address conditions related to thiamine deficiency. Unlike thiamine, benfotiamine is lipid-soluble, allowing it to penetrate cell membranes more effectively. This enhanced absorption is believed to contribute to its potential therapeutic benefits in managing diabetic complications, neuropathy, and oxidative stress.

The most metabolically active form
- What does coenzymated mean?
In order for B vitamins to be utilized effectively by they body, they must be converted into their metabolically active coenzyme forms. For example, two coenzyme forms of thiamin are benfotiamine and thiamine diphosphate.
A coenzyme is a naturally occurring compound that partners with specific enzymes in order to help promote a number of beneficial metabolic reactions in the body. Without the coenzyme, the enzyme cannot promote the biochemical reaction that is responsible for our survival. The dual cooperation between coenzyme and enzyme is a process called coenzymated.
Taking B vitamins already in their coenzymated forms allows the body to use them directly. Thus, the amount that is needed by the body is less in order to achieve the same benefits.
Biocoenzymated takes it one step further. Using our proprietary EnviroSimplex technology, we've created a unique biocoenzymated process using organic, farm fresh plant extracts from whole food sources and the coenzyme form of B vitamins. The synergy between the phytochemicals found in these plant extracts and the coenzyme B vitamin optimizes absorption.
The results? Biocoenzymated delivers the most metabolically active nutrients to your cells to utilize most effectively.
Feel the difference.

Formulation |
- Taking benfotiamine and thiamine diphosphate allows for greater absorption and biavailability than non-coenzyme forms. Benfotiamine is fat soluble which allows it to cross cell membranes. Furthermore, it stimulates transketolase, the enzyme essential for maintaining normal glucose metabolic pathways. It also supports healthy nervous system function and helps protect the body's tissues against advanced glycation end products (AGEs).
- Manufactured by Natural Factors to ensure safety and potency in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) of the FDA and Health Canada.
