Lactoferrin
Description:Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein that has the ability to attach to iron. It is present in various bodily fluids like colostrum, nasal secretions, intestinal secretions, genital secretions, tears, saliva, and even seminal fluid in humans and animals. Neutrophils, a type of white blood cell, also release lactoferrin. This versatile protein can be obtained from human or bovine milk, and it can also be extracted from rice through recombinant technology.

- Pediatric experts agree that colostrum is "liquid gold." Along with extended breastfeeding, colostrum puts precious little ones on the path to a healthy future.
Optimal growth, development & immune resilience
Unfortunately, not all babies receive the benefits of colostrum. The good news is that bovine (cow) colostrum is biologically compatible, plentiful, and a natural substitute if mom is unable to breastfeed. Living in today's world requires a healthy immune system, and this is why Infant & Toddler Colostrum-LD is the ideal product to fortify your infant or toddler's nutritional needs.
- Each batch will vary in density, solubility, smell, and taste due to season, different cows and ambient humidity at time of processing.

Formula |
- OU D (Kosher dairy)
- 100% Pure bovine colostrum with immunoglobulins
- Superfood for infants & toddlers
- 100% Instant colostrum powder
- Nature's first food
Since the dawn of time, mothers' colostrum ("first milk") has sustained and nurtured their newborns. This rich source of immunoglobulins, anti-microbial peptides (lactoferrin & lactoperoxidase), signaling molecules (cytokines, proline-rich polypeptides), beneficial bacteria, and growth factors jumpstart the newborn's immune system and heal the leaky gut.
- We recommend Colostrum-LD for all family members to maintain immune resilience and overall well-being... whether you're two hours old or 102 years old.

We recommend Colostrum-LD for all family members to maintain immune resilience and overall well-being... whether you're two hours old or 102 years old.
- A serving size of 2 g is based on weight not volume. If precise measurement of a serving size is required, use a gram scale.
- Colostrum powder is a food and once opened, is non-returnable. If defective, return for replacement. See details online.

Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions |
- Recommended usage
Mix colostrum in 4 ounces freshly purified water (not bottled water), formula, or filtered apple juice and provide twice a day. If solid foods are appropriate, add colostrum to yogurt, applesauce, or vegetable puree. Upon taking colostrum for the first time, some infants experience mild sensitivity which may result in changes to stool color or consistency (loose stools or diarrhea). This is a normal reaction, so begin with 1/4 teaspoon for the first few feedings and gradually increase to 1/2 teaspoon. If symptoms persist, contact your pediatrician for further advice.
