🩺 Clinical
This is an over-the-counter effervescent tablet that dissolves in water before being swallowed by mouth. It contains aspirin, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory ingredient typically used to help relieve minor aches, pains, and fever. The tablet also contains citric acid and sodium bicarbonate, which create the fizzy action when the tablet is dissolved in water and are commonly used in antacid and effervescent formulations. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for this category of over-the-counter pain relief products.
