Sunblocz is a zinc oxide cream applied to the skin as an over-the-counter sunscreen product. Zinc oxide is a mineral ingredient commonly used in sunscreen formulations to help block and scatter ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. This product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter monograph rules for sunscreen ingredients rather than as an individually reviewed drug application.
