Clinical
DIY Booster SPF 30 Facial Serum is a topical lotion formulated as an over-the-counter sunscreen product. It contains four active ingredients that function as ultraviolet light filters: octinoxate, octisalate, and avobenzone are chemical UV absorbers commonly used in sunscreens to help protect skin from UVA and UVB rays, while zinc oxide is a mineral UV reflectant. This product is marketed under the FDA's over-the-counter sunscreen monograph, which establishes the standards for its category.
