🩺 Clinical
Avene Mineral Sunscreen Face and Body is a topical lotion that contains zinc oxide, a mineral ingredient commonly used in sunscreen products to help protect skin from ultraviolet (UV) rays. This product is marketed as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it follows FDA's established rules for sunscreen ingredients and uses rather than undergoing individual product approval. Zinc oxide works by sitting on the skin's surface to scatter and reflect UV radiation away from the skin.
