Clinical
This is a topical liquid bandage that contains two active ingredients: benzethonium chloride and dyclonine hydrochloride. Benzethonium chloride is typically used as an antimicrobial agent, while dyclonine hydrochloride is commonly used as a local anesthetic to numb minor pain. The product is sold as an over-the-counter monograph drug, meaning it is marketed according to FDA's established rules for this category of topical wound treatment products rather than as an individually reviewed application.
