🩺 Clinical
Witch hazel liquid is a topical product applied directly to the skin. It is an over-the-counter monograph drug, which means it is marketed under a standard FDA rule-book for astringent products rather than as an individually reviewed application. Witch hazel is typically used as a skin astringent and is commonly applied to help reduce minor skin irritation, minor inflammation, and minor bleeding, such as from minor cuts or hemorrhoids.
