We use AI to help explain our data in plain language — never to invent it. Here’s exactly how that works, and real examples of what our AI has answered.
How we use AI
Everywhere HelloPharmacist uses AI, it does one job: turn our own pharmacist-reviewed data into clear, plain-language explanations. It reads a label, summarizes an interaction we already have on file, or phrases a finding in everyday words. It does not decide whether two things interact, and it does not answer from the open internet or its own general knowledge.
- Grounded in our data only. Every AI feature is fed the specific, sourced records for your question — our licensed interaction database, FDA-approved labeling, and our pharmacist-written content. If it isn’t in our data, the AI won’t make it up.
- Our databases are the source of truth. Interaction verdicts, severities and drug facts come from those records — the AI only reads and rephrases them.
- Reviewed and logged. AI features are overseen by our pharmacy team, and every AI request is logged for quality review.

About these examples. Questions are shown anonymously (we never publish who asked, and we don’t store the asker’s IP address) and may be lightly edited to remove any personal detail. Answers are AI-generated from our own sourced data.
