Lentinan Overview
Lentinan is a type of polysaccharide that is extracted from the edible mushroom Lentinula edodes, also known as shiitake. The main part of lentinan is Beta-1,3-glucan and supplements are often marketed simply under that name. Lentinan has been used for centuries in traditional medicine for its purported immune-boosting and anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies have suggested that lentinan may have anti-tumor effects and may help to boost the immune system, but more research is needed to confirm these effects and to determine the appropriate dosage and duration of use.
Betaxolol Overview

Betaxolol is used alone or with other medications to control high blood pressure. Betaxolol is in a class of medications called beta blockers. It works by relaxing blood vessels and slowing heart rate to improve blood flow and decrease blood pressure.
