Eastern Hemlock is an evergreen conifer tree (Tsuga canadensis) traditionally used by Native Americans and early settlers for coughs, sore throats, and as a vitamin C-rich tea. There is very little modern scientific evidence to support any of these uses, and it should not be confused with poison hemlock. Brand name: Lonsurf

Lonsurf (trifluridine and tipiracil) is used to treat adults with metastatic colorectal cancer — either alone or combined with bevacizumab — after prior treatment with several other chemotherapy regimens and targeted therapies.

Lonsurf is also used for adults with metastatic gastric or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma (cancer of the stomach or where the stomach meets the esophagus) who have already received at least two prior chemotherapy regimens.
