Maggot therapy (also called maggot debridement therapy or larval therapy) is a medical treatment in which sterile, medical-grade fly larvae are placed on a wound to remove dead tissue and help cleaning. It is a prescription, clinician-applied therapy — not a dietary supplement or herb — and should only be done under professional supervision. It can be useful for certain hard-to-heal wounds, but it is not a do-it-yourself treatment.

Maggot Therapy: dosing

There is no 'dose' in the way there is for a supplement. The number of larvae used depends on the size and type of the wound, and this is determined by the clinician applying the treatment.Typically, larvae are left on the wound for around a couple of days before being removed, and the treatment may be repeated over several cycles if needed. What Is Clonazepam Used For?

Brand names: Klonopin, Rivotril, Ceberclon

Clonazepam is approved to treat several types of seizures — including Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (a severe form of epilepsy), akinetic seizures (sudden loss of muscle tone), myoclonic seizures (sudden muscle jerks), and absence seizures (brief lapses of awareness) in patients who haven't responded to other medicines.

It is also approved for panic disorder, with or without agoraphobia (fear of situations that might cause panic). Panic disorder involves repeated, unexpected panic attacks along with ongoing worry about having more attacks.
