Schwarzbein Principle Diet + Maraviroc
Maraviroc brand names: Celsentri, Selzentry.
We found no known interaction between Schwarzbein Principle Diet and Maraviroc in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Schwarzbein Principle Diet and Maraviroc
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Maraviroc and Schwarzbein Principle Diet in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — research on Schwarzbein Principle Diet alongside specific medications may be limited.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Schwarzbein Principle Diet at all — not against Maraviroc, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
Schwarzbein Principle Diet is an eating pattern rather than something you take. Ask your pharmacist or doctor before changing how you eat while on a prescribed medicine: some medicines are dosed around meals, and a change in diet can change how they work. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Maraviroc page
“Someone taking maraviroc (Selzentry) for HIV needs a steady blood level to keep the virus suppressed, and that level is exactly what most of the 168 supplements on this page can disturb, so this list calls for genuine care. About 121 entries share maraviroc's clearance route, the CYP3A4 enzyme, which means grapefruit can push levels up…”

Where Schwarzbein Principle Diet and Maraviroc Sit Against Everything Else
Out of every supplement and medication people look up on HelloPharmacist, here is where these two land this week — and which way each has been moving.
#1,375 of 1,452 supplements looked up here in the last 7 days
#1,123 of 2,830 medications looked up here in the last 7 days
Position among everything looked up on this site, not a measure of how commonly either one is used or how important it is. A supplement can climb this list because of a news story. It counts every request to the page, automated ones included, and nothing here identifies anyone.
Where does our data come from?
- Source: the Natural Medicines (TRC Healthcare) clinical database — the evidence-graded professional reference for herb & supplement interactions. Schwarzbein Principle Diet is not yet covered by that licensed database, so its write-up cites publicly available medical sources directly (see the references below).
- Citation library: 103,510 references behind our interaction content, 65,311 of them resolved to verified PubMed/DOI sources. See every Schwarzbein Principle Diet reference on this page ↓
- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified September 13, 2026. The Schwarzbein Principle Diet and Maraviroc records this page draws on were last updated June 22, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Schwarzbein Principle Diet
What is Schwarzbein Principle Diet?
- Weight management
- Blood sugar control
- Type 2 diabetes support
- Anti-aging and hormone balance
- General metabolic health
The Schwarzbein Principle Diet is a low-carbohydrate, whole-foods eating plan, not an herb or supplement. It emphasizes reducing refined carbs and sugar while eating protein, healthy fats, and non-starchy vegetables, but rigorous long-term scientific evidence for its specific claims is limited. Talk to your doctor or a registered dietitian before making major diet changes, especially if you have diabetes or take medication.
Dietary program (books, meal plans)
An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Schwarzbein Principle Diet is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Schwarzbein Principle Diet record says about it on its own.
Schwarzbein Principle Diet: dosing
There is no "dose" for a diet. Instead, the program is followed by choosing certain foods and avoiding others over time. Specifics on portions and food choices come from Dr. Schwarzbein's books and materials. If you want to try it, follow the program's guidance and consider working with a registered dietitian to make sure your meals are balanced and meet your nutrient needs.

About Maraviroc
What Is Maraviroc Used For?
Brand names: Celsentri, Selzentry
Maraviroc treats a specific type of HIV-1 infection called CCR5-tropic HIV-1. It is always used alongside other antiretroviral (anti-HIV) medicines — never alone. A special test called a tropism assay must be done before starting treatment to confirm you have the right type of HIV.
Selzentry (the brand-name oral solution and tablet) is approved for adults and pediatric patients weighing at least 2 kg. Generic maraviroc tablets are approved for adults and pediatric patients aged 2 years and older weighing at least 10 kg. Neither form is recommended for patients whose HIV is classified as dual/mixed-tropic or CXCR4-tropic.
Most-Reported Side Effects for Maraviroc
From FAERS, the FDA’s public side-effect reporting system (2,288 reports, all brands). Reports are voluntary and are not proof the drug caused the effect.
