Calcium
Calcium is a vital nutrient found in various foods such as dairy products, certain vegetables, and many fortified items. Over 99% of the body's calcium is stored in the bones and teeth, predominantly as hydroxyapatite. The remaining calcium circulates in the blood, extracellular fluid, muscles, and other tissues, where it is essential for processes like nerve signaling, muscle contraction, vascular activities, glandular secretion, and maintaining cell membrane and capillary permeability. It also plays critical roles in enzyme reactions, respiration, kidney function, and blood clotting, and is involved in neurotransmitter and hormone release, amino acid uptake, vitamin B12 absorption, and gastrin secretion. Calcium balance changes with age: it is positive during periods of growth, stable in adulthood, and tends to become negative in older age. Calcium loss occurs through feces, urine, sweat, and shedding skin cells. In women, reduced estrogen levels decrease calcium absorption and retention, increase bone turnover, and lead to lower bone mass. Calcium supplements come in various forms, including citrate and carbonate, which differ mainly in their calcium content and absorption rates. Calcium citrate is easily absorbed and can be taken without food, making it suitable for older adults or those with low stomach acid. In contrast, calcium carbonate, which contains a higher percentage of calcium, is best absorbed when taken with meals.

Creatine
Description:Creatine is an organic amine that occurs naturally in the body and is also found in certain foods, such as meat and fish. It is stored mostly in the skeletal muscles, where it is used to generate energy during physical activity. Creatine is a popular over-the-counter dietary supplement, and some evidence suggests it is effective at improving exercise performance, particularly during high-intensity activities such as weightlifting and sprinting. However, the degree to which creatine supplements may improve exercise performance can vary depending on the individual and the type of physical activity being performed Creatine is generally well-tolerated but may cause some minor side effects, such as cramping and water retention in some individuals. Long-term use has been rarely linked to kidney problems, but its use is generally regarded as safe. There are several different forms of creatine available, with the most common form being monohydrate salt. Other salt forms, including di-creatine citrate and 'pH buffered' creatine, are also available.

Testofen Fenugreek seed extract
Description:Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum) is a plant native to the Mediterranean region and western Asia. The seeds have a nutty, slightly bitter taste and are commonly used in different types of cuisine. The leaves, which are known as "methi," are used in cooking as well. In addition to its use as a spice and herb, fenugreek has a long history of use in traditional medicine. Some studies have suggested that fenugreek may have potential health benefits, including the ability to lower blood sugar levels in people with diabetes, improve cholesterol levels, and reduce inflammation. It may also have potential benefits for women who are breastfeeding, as it is thought to increase milk production and improve the quality of breast milk.

Glutamine
Description:L-glutamine is the most abundant free amino acid in the body, produced primarily in skeletal muscle and then released into circulation. It serves vital roles in various tissues, including the immune system, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, and liver, where it supports essential functions such as maintaining intestinal integrity, immune response, and amino acid balance. Although traditionally classified as a non-essential amino acid, during periods of severe stress, glutamine becomes conditionally essential due to the body's increased demand. It acts as a critical nitrogen and carbon transporter between organs, and while the intestinal mucosa can synthesize glutamine, this production is insufficient during times of significant physiological stress. Dietary supplements generally contain L-glutamine as it is the biologically active form of the amino acid.

Bromelain
Description:Bromelain is a group of proteolytic enzymes derived from pineapples. It has been traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory and protein-digesting properties. Some research suggests it may have potential benefits for conditions such as allergic rhinitis, burns, cancer, diabetic foot ulcers, and postoperative pain, among others. However, the evidence for its effectiveness in these areas is lacking, and more research is needed. It is important to note that bromelain should not be confused with other protein-digesting enzymes. Pregnant and lactating individuals should avoid using bromelain due to insufficient information about its safety in these populations.

Percent change
An 8-week study of athletes performing an intense resistance exercise training regimen demonstrated that those using this proprietary module of whey protein and leucine had greater increases in muscle strength and size than those on a placebo.
- In an eight-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 30 healthy male volunteers comparing 1 set resistance training + active or carbohydrate placebo to 2 sets resistance training alone with no supplement, the active group showed equal gains in maximal muscle strength and muscle endurance compared to the control group.
When used in conjunction with and exercise program. As with any food product, use of this product alone will not lead to increased muscle mass or strength.
Per 3 scoop serving
Inclusion of these enzymes resulted in a 12% greater protein breakdown as measured by the release profile of the amino acids tyrosine. These results represent the enzyme activity potential under simulated conditions. Effects in the human body have not been studied.

- This product is the only whey protein isolate to combine the whey and leucine clinically shown to fuel increased strength and size, with additional ingredients proven to amplify power and anabolism. This formula features a protein blend that has been validated in clinical studies to give you a 30% increase in strength, increased muscle size and a 100% improvement in exercise efficiency. Our GNC scientists have AMPed up the protein with a Power Complex featuring an mTOR-stimulating BCAA blend of protein synthesis and added creatine to increase anabolic muscle growth.
- Power Complex
In addition to 10 grams of leucine, this formula is stacked with 4 grams of both isoleucine and valine to stimulate mTOR activation and give you a powerful boost of all three BCAA to fuel your workouts and enhance your recovery. This product has upped the ante and added a 3 gram creatine blend to increase athletic performance and fuel strength + 600mg of Testofen fenugreek to help support testosterone levels in the body.
- Highly Effective Whey-Leucine Base
The impressive 60 grams of protein are made entirely from two of the highest-quality, fast-absorbing forms of whey protein, isolates and hydrolysates, including 10 grams of leucine to create an ideal environment for muscle protein synthesis. This potent blend delivers arginine, which is involved in creatine synthesis, and over 10 grams of glutamic acid & glutamine to support anabolic effects. In fact, the whey and leucine blend in this product has been shown to increase muscle strength and stamina with half the sets.
- Powerful Amino Acid System
This product is loaded with arginine as well as glutamic acid & glutamine, key amino acids necessary for muscle building and recovery. Over 10 grams of glutamic acid & glutamine help to combat catabolism and support muscle function, while arginine helps to support blood vessel tone and blood flow, and is involved in the production of creatine.
