What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: black walnut hulls extract. Black walnut has been studied for potential benefits in heart health and wound healing, though the evidence remains limited.
The capsule itself is an inactive ingredient that holds the extract.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence we hold isn't strong enough to say black walnut hulls extract works for coronary heart disease or wound healing. Both show insufficient reliable evidence to rate.
If you're considering it for one of these purposes, talk it over with your doctor — they can help you weigh what's known against other options.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Black walnut hulls extract is generally well tolerated when taken by mouth in the short term, but long-term safety hasn't been well studied in humans. The hull contains high amounts of tannins, which can cause stomach upset, nausea, or other digestive discomfort in some people.
Tree nuts, including black walnuts, can trigger allergic reactions in sensitive individuals — if you have a tree nut allergy, avoid this product. The safety data advises against use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check

Black Walnut ATC is a single-ingredient supplement with limited human safety data and unproven benefits for the conditions it's marketed for. If you're thinking about taking it long-term or you have a tree nut allergy, talk with your doctor or pharmacist first.
