Lactase has caused contact dermatitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis in workers exposed to the powdered form, but oral use in supplement form is considered likely safe. During pregnancy, safety data are limited for most ingredients here.
Protease is best avoided in pregnancy unless prescribed; Lipase and Phytase should only be used if your doctor advises it; Lactase is likely safe. During breastfeeding, Protease and Phytase have little data and aren't recommended without medical advice, while Lactase has limited but favorable data.
