General Statements
- Evening Primrose Oil is a rich source of gamma-linoleic acid and linoleic acid - two omega-6 fatty acids from which the body makes prostaglandins, which regulate such processes as bronchial constriction, male sexual function, nerve and kidney function, blood pressure, immunity, blood sugar levels, stomach acid, mucus production in the stomach lining, and uterine stimulation. Epo is typically used to reduce cyclic breast pain and rheumatoid arthritis inflammations, to normalize cholesterol levels, and to decrease atherosclerotic plaques.
Suggested/Recommended/Usage/Directions
- Suggested Use: 2 to 5 softgels daily as a dietary supplement.
