General Statements
- PRODUCT BENEFITS: Evening Primrose Oil provides 351 mg of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA) per day, which helps provide nutritional support for women’s health. Evening Primrose Oil has been traditionally used for women with PMS. GLA can be synthesized from Linoleic Acid in the body by the rate-limiting enzyme delta-6 desaturase. However, biological conversion is estimated to be less than 10% and there are no significant food sources, which is why supplementation may be important.
