Pregnenolone
Pregnenolone is a hormone that is produced naturally in the body by the adrenal glands as well as in the brain. It is a precursor to other hormones, including cortisol, progesterone, testosterone, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), and estrogens, and plays a role in a number of bodily functions. Pregnenolone is often utilized as a dietary supplement and is purported to have a number of potential health benefits, including improved memory and cognitive function, reduced anxiety and stress, and enhanced immune function.
