- Bacopa monnieri has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to support the nervous system and may support brain function and learning*. It also helps to modulate reactions to occasional stress. These effects may be due to antioxidant protection of processing centers in the brain by altering superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GPX) levels. This formula also contains Ginkgo biloba for support of the circulatory system. Convolvulus pleuricaulis and Centella asiatica have been added to reduce occasional stress, and for memory enhancement, support in revitalization of connective tissue, and their general tonic effects (both are considered Rasayana in Ayurveda).
