Motherwort Liquid Extract
Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca) is a perennial herb native to Europe and Asia. Belonging to the mint family, the plant has a strong, pungent aroma and is often used in traditional medicine to treat a variety of ailments. Motherwort is purported to have a number of medicinal properties, such as sedative, anti-anxiety, and anti-inflammatory effects, and has been used to treat conditions such as anxiety, insomnia, and heart palpitations. It is also sometimes used to treat menstrual regularity and to ease menopausal symptoms. Dietary supplements containing motherwort are often marketed towards women to support their reproductive system and support healthy levels of stress.
