What’s inside
Full disclosure
Osha Non-Alcohol contains one active ingredient: Osha Root Extract, Dried. Osha is a traditional herb used in folk medicine, often for respiratory and digestive support.
This liquid formula uses glycerin and purified water as inactive ingredients — no alcohol is added.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence for Osha Root Extract isn't well established in the data we hold. For dyspepsia (indigestion) and HIV/AIDS support, we have insufficient reliable evidence to rate how well it works.
If you're thinking about it for one of these uses, talk with your doctor or pharmacist about whether the available science supports it for your situation.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Limited safety data exist for Osha Root Extract, and that's a real concern — wild Osha can be confused with poisonous look-alike plants, so sourcing matters. Osha is traditionally avoided during pregnancy and is rated likely unsafe based on that history, though it hasn't been formally studied in pregnant people.
For breastfeeding, no reliable safety data are available, so it's best avoided. If you're pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, talk with your doctor or pharmacist before using this product.
Meds to double-check
No known interactions

The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no assessable stated purpose. No medication interactions are currently documented, and some safety-information gaps remain.
Osha Non-Alcohol is a single-ingredient liquid extract with no documented medication interactions. The main caution is that safety data are limited and pregnancy and breastfeeding use are not recommended.
If you're interested in it for indigestion or other support, check with your doctor or pharmacist first — they can weigh the limited evidence and any personal factors that matter to you.
