- Phosphatidyl Serine is a naturally occurring nutrient and essential component of human cell membranes. Although Phosphatidyl Serine can be found in the membranes of all cells, it is especially concentrated in the nerve cells of the brain. In dietary supplement form, it is derived from soybeans and is one of the compounds within a group of known as phospholipids. Phosphatidyl Serine has several important functions. It can help support nerve cells health and assist in establishing receptor sites in the brain. Phosphatidyl Serine can also help to support cell to cell communication, and thereby may enhance memory, learning, concentration, mood, alertness, sociability, and reaction time. This exceptional, one of a kind product also contains Ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo comes from a very unique and ancient tree. The name "Ginkgo" comes from its older Chinese name, "silver fruit," and the Chinese have used Ginkgo for thousands of years. First introduced to Europe in the 1700's, Ginkgo is one of the most researched herbs in the world. It is widely recognized in promoting optimal circulation, healthy cognitive function, free-radical destruction and cellular protection.
