Lactobacillus acidophilus
Lactobacillus acidophilus is a type of lactic acid-producing bacteria that is commonly found in the human gut, as well as in other areas of the body such as the mouth and vagina. L. acidophilus can also be found in fermented foods such as yogurt and kefir. It is commonly utilized in probiotic dietary supplements as it is considered a "friendly" or "beneficial" bacteria because it helps to maintain the balance of microorganisms in the body, and is purported to help improve digestion and boost the immune system. Some studies have suggested that L. acidophilus may also have a role in preventing and treating certain conditions such as diarrhea, vaginal yeast infections, and eczema.

Lactospore Lactobacillus sporogenes
Bacillus coagulans, also known as Weizmannia coagulans or Lactobacillus sporogenes, is a spore-forming, lactic acid-producing, Gram-positive bacterium used as a probiotic. Bacillus coagulans has shown benefits for constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). Its spores are stable in stomach acid and reach the small intestine, where they germinate and multiply, with around 85% reaching their destination. The bacterium is excreted via feces, with spores detectable up to 7 days post-administration. Mechanistically, Bacillus coagulans exhibits antibacterial effects through the production of coagulin, lactic acid, and lactosporin, reducing pathogenic bacteria colonization. It also demonstrates antifungal properties and anti-inflammatory effects, potentially reducing the growth of pathogenic bacteria and decreasing the production of lipopolysaccharides. Bacillus coagulans may stimulate immune response, as evidenced by increased CD4+ T cells in adults with HIV-1 infection and modulation of inflammatory cytokines in schoolchildren. These properties categorize Bacillus coagulans as an immunomodulator, immunostimulant, and probiotic, with potential therapeutic applications in promoting digestive health and immune function.

- Daily probiotic use helps give your GI tract and immune system that extra "edge" to keep not-so-beneficial flora from disrupting the delicate balance of “good” bacteria in your gut. You'll naturally feel better -- and be able to do more of the things you want to do... at home, at work, on vacation, anywhere and everywhere you go. Every pre-measured package of Probiotic Packs provides 11 strains of probiotics including: - Bifidobacterium lactis: a friendly bacteria often found in yogurt that is known to help support immune responses. - Lactobacillus acidophilus: promotes the health of your entire digestive tract.
- Bifidobacterium longum: keeps your digestive system running smoothly, and helps enhance your immune system.*
|
Brand IP Statement(s) |
- Probiotic Packs brings you 11 different "good" strains of bacteria, plus the well known Kyo-Dophilus(R) blend, so your GI tract receives multiple varieties of helpful organisms in one concentrated dose.
- And to ensure the multiple strains of good bacteria thrive, I’ve added NutraFlora(R) short chain FOS for their growth and survival.
