According to Ayurveda, Punarnava is believed to subside all the three doshas i.e. Vata, Pitta, Kapha. Punarnava is considered to have anti-inflammatory diuretic properties. It may act as a carminative, increase appetite, digest ama. This helps to boost the immune power. Punarnava is believed to be useful in purifying the blood and also the gastric juices.
