What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: tart cherry fruit extract. That's it — there are no other active ingredients or fillers listed.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence on tart cherry extract is mixed. It's rated possibly effective for athletic performance.
For everything else in the facts — ADHD, cognitive function, exercise-induced muscle soreness, exercise-induced respiratory infections, and fibromyalgia — the evidence is insufficient to say whether it works or not. The data we hold doesn't establish those claims.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Tart cherry is generally well tolerated when you eat the whole fruit or drink the juice, but this is a concentrated supplement powder — and concentrated products haven't been studied as thoroughly. Safety information for supplement doses is limited, so caution is advised.
The most common side effects reported are abdominal pain, weakness, stomach upset, and loose stools. A small number of people in studies and case reports have experienced these effects after drinking concentrated juice or eating large amounts of whole cherries.
One case of a possible allergic skin reaction to a tart cherry and apple juice blend has been reported. If you develop stomach pain or loose stools after starting this powder, you can dial back the dose or stop and talk with your pharmacist.

The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. No medication interactions are currently documented, and safety information is well characterized.
If you're interested in athletic performance support, tart cherry extract has some evidence behind it — though it's not a slam dunk. For other uses listed on the label, we don't have enough data to say it works.
The powder is generally well tolerated, but concentrated supplements lack the long-term safety data that whole fruit has, so start low and watch how your stomach handles it. Talk with your doctor or pharmacist before adding it to your routine if you have any health concerns.
