What’s inside
Full disclosure
This product contains one active ingredient: molybdenum, a mineral your body needs in tiny amounts for certain enzyme functions. You're getting 77 micrograms per serving, delivered as a liquid.
The inactive ingredients are purified water and ammonium molybdate (the source form of the molybdenum itself).
Does it work?
Strong evidence
Molybdenum is likely effective for treating molybdenum deficiency — a rare condition in people eating a typical diet. For acne, iron deficiency anemia, asthma, osteoporosis, and esophageal cancer, the evidence isn't established in the data we hold.
Most people get enough molybdenum from food, so supplementing is rarely needed unless a doctor has identified a specific deficiency.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Molybdenum is generally well tolerated when you stay at or below 2 mg per day — and this product's 77 micrograms is well below that limit. The safety notes caution that high-dose supplements may cause problems and are rarely necessary.
Dietary amounts from food and prenatal vitamins are generally fine. There is a case report of very high supplementation (300–800 micrograms daily over 18 days) causing serious neurological symptoms including psychosis and seizures, but that dose is far higher than what this product provides.
If you have a molybdenum-containing stent, talk to your doctor before starting any molybdenum supplement. There isn't enough pregnancy and breastfeeding data on file for this ingredient.

This product is for people whose doctor has identified a molybdenum deficiency — a rare finding. For everyone else, food provides what you need.
The dose here is safe and won't interact with medications we have data on, but talk to your pharmacist before adding it if you're on any prescriptions or have had certain types of stents placed.
