Tranquil Tract contains 2 active ingredients: Benegut Perilla extract and ibSium probiotic. Perilla is a plant extract; probiotics are beneficial bacteria intended to support gut health.
The capsule also contains several inactive ingredients—maltodextrin, vegetable cellulose, microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable stearate, and silica—which are fillers and binders that help hold the supplement together.

The evidence for perilla extract is limited. Our data shows insufficient reliable evidence to rate it for age-related cognitive decline, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), asthma, osteoporosis, cancer, or headache.

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Perilla is generally well tolerated as a food, but supplement-strength products haven't been studied extensively. The most common side effect reported with topical perilla is dermatitis.
Orally, anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction) has been reported rarely, particularly in people who consumed perilla seeds; research suggests a compound called oleosin may be responsible for these allergies. Occupational asthma has also been reported from inhaling smoke from roasted perilla seeds.
During pregnancy and breastfeeding, there isn't enough safety data for medicinal amounts of perilla, so it should be avoided in those situations. We hold no safety data on file for the ibSium probiotic.
