Berberine Sulfate
Berberine is a naturally-occurring compound that is found in several plants, including goldenseal, barberry, goldthread, phellodendron, and Oregon grape. It is known for its bitter taste and yellow color. It has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to treat a variety of conditions such as diabetes and high cholesterol. - Tricycline contains berberine sulfate, artemisinin, citrus seed extract (from grapefruit), and black walnut hulls. Berberine is the active constituent of goldenseal. Artemisinin, or qinghaosu, is the active constituent of sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua).

- Suggested Use
As a dietary supplement, 1 or 2 capsules two or three times daily with meals, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Artemisinin is best taken as part of a program that includes appropriate liver support nutrients. Sensitive individuals may want to take with food.

- Caution: Not indicated for pregnant or nursing women.
- This product should only be used under the guidance of a qualified healthcare practitioner with ongoing monitoring of liver enzymes and hemoglobin during its use. In rare cases may cause idiosyncratic liver dysfunction.
