Clinical
Magnesium hydroxide is used to treat occasional constipation in children and adults on a short-term basis. Magnesium hydroxide is in a class of medications called saline laxatives. It works by causing water to be retained with the stool. This increases the number of bowel movements and softens the stool so it is easier to pass.

🎯 Indications and Usage ▾
Uses for relief of occasional constipation (irregularity) this product generally produces bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours
⏱️ Dosage and Administration ▾
Directions drink a full glass (8oz) of liquid with each dose dose may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses do not exceed the maximum recommended daily dose in a 24 hour period adults and children 12 years of age and over - 2 to 4 chews children 6 to 12 years of age - 1 to 2 chews children under 6 years of age - ask a doctor
⚠️ Warnings ▾
Warnings Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have kidney disease a magnesium-restricted diet stomach pain, nausea or vomiting noticed a sudden change in bowel habits that last over 2 weeks Do not give to children under 5 years of age unless directed by a doctor

Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking a prescription drug. This product may interact with certain prescription drugs.
📄 Stop Use and Ask a Doctor If ▾
Stop use and ask doctor if you have rectal bleeding or fail to have a bowel movement after using this product. These could be signs of a serious condition. you need to use a laxative for more than 1 week
🤰 If Pregnant or Breast-Feeding ▾
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding , ask a health professional before use.

Keep out of reach of children.

Other information Each chew contains : magnesium 500 mg Contains soy Calories 15 per chew Store between 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F) in a dry place Do not use if bag is torn or open
