Solar Defense Tinted is a topical cream containing titanium dioxide and zinc oxide, two mineral ingredients commonly used in over-the-counter sunscreen products. These ingredients function as physical UV filters that sit on the skin to help block ultraviolet radiation. This product is marketed as an OTC monograph drug, meaning it follows established FDA guidelines for sunscreen formulations rather than being individually approved. The tinted formulation is designed to provide sun protection while blending with skin tone.
