Clinical
This is an over-the-counter oral tablet that combines two active ingredients commonly used together to support bowel regularity. Docusate sodium functions as a stool softener by helping to retain moisture in stool, making bowel movements easier to pass. Sennosides are plant-derived stimulant laxatives that work by promoting muscle contractions in the colon to encourage bowel movement. This combination product is typically used by people seeking relief from occasional constipation.
