Clinical
CVS Itch Relief is an over-the-counter topical spray marketed under the FDA's OTC monograph rules for skin-itch products. It contains diphenhydramine hydrochloride, a first-generation antihistamine commonly used to reduce itching and skin irritation when applied directly to the skin, and zinc acetate, which is typically included in itch-relief formulations for its astringent and soothing properties. The spray form allows direct application to affected areas.
