Folic acid is a B vitamin your body needs to build healthy cells and support DNA. Ketorolac is an NSAID, and there is some laboratory research suggesting that NSAIDs with a particular chemical structure could interfere with enzymes that depend on folate to work properly. That said, whether this actually lowers folate levels in real patients has not been established, so the evidence is genuinely insufficient to draw any firm conclusions. Most people using this medication short-term have no reason to be concerned, but if you have questions about your folate status, your pharmacist or doctor is a good place to start.
