Avoid concomitant use of sparsentan with moderate CYP3A inhibitors that are sensitive P-gp substrates as it may increases sparsentan and/or sensitive P-gp substrates exposure, which may increase the risk of adverse reactions related to these substrates. Monitor for adverse reactions such as blood pressure, serum potassium, edema, and kidney function regularly when sparsentan is used concomitantly with moderate CYP3A inhibitors. No sparsentan dose adjustment is needed1.
