An increased risk of QT interval prolongation, ventricular tachycardia or an increased risk of torsade de pointes

Interaction Deep Dive

Avoid concomitant use of toremifene with other drugs that prolong QT interval as it may result in increased risk of QT interval prolongation. Prolongation of QT interval can result in a type of ventricular tachycardia called torsade de points, which may result in syncope, seizure, and/or death. If coadministered, closely monitor for prolongation of QT interval¹.
