Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CNS DEPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Oxycodone
Oxycodone falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Albizia Julibrissin interacts with.
Some CNS depressants include pentobarbital (Nembutal), phenobarbital (Luminal), secobarbital (Seconal), clonazepam (Klonopin), lorazepam (Ativan), zolpidem (Ambien), and others.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the gist: Oxycodone is a strong opioid pain reliever that already slows down the brain and nervous system, causing drowsiness, slowed breathing, and relaxation. Albizia julibrissin is traditionally used to calm the mind and help with sleep, so the worry is that pairing the two could pile on those sedating effects. In animal studies, compounds from Albizia flowers made an anesthetic-type drug knock mice out longer, which is why it's grouped as something that may add to the effect of CNS depressants like oxycodone.
Now, to keep this honest: this is theoretical, based on lab and animal data, not human studies, so it's not a strong, proven interaction. Still, with oxycodone the stakes are higher, so signs like extra sleepiness, foggy thinking, or slowed breathing matter. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Oxycodone page
“Oxycodone is a potent opioid painkiller, and anything that deepens its sedation can slow breathing itself, which is why this list deserves genuine respect. Of the 145 supplement and herbal ingredients on record, eight rate major, and the biggest cluster by far, 78 ingredients, adds extra drowsiness on top of the opioid's own.”

About Oxycodone
What Is Oxycodone Used For?
Brand names: OxyContin, Roxicodone, OxyIR, Percolone, Oxecta, OxyNeo
Oxycodone is prescribed for pain severe enough to need daily, long-term opioid treatment — pain that hasn't responded well to non-opioid medicines or shorter-acting options. The extended-release form is designed for continuous pain control, not for occasional or as-needed use.
It is approved for adults and, in certain cases, for opioid-tolerant children 11 years and older who are already on opioid therapy. Because of the serious risks involved, it is reserved for situations where other approaches have genuinely fallen short.
