Arenaria Rubra + Donepezil (patch)
Donepezil (patch) brand name: Adlarity.
Arenaria Rubra has a moderate interaction with Donepezil (patch). Arenaria rubra, by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase, may theoretically interact with other acetylcholinesterase inhibitors like donepezil and rivastigmine, commonly used in Alzheimer's disease treatment.

Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
Acetylcholinesterase (Ache) Inhibitors
Why this applies to Donepezil (patch)
Donepezil (patch) falls under Acetylcholinesterase (Ache) Inhibitors — the group Arenaria Rubra interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. Your Adlarity patch works by blocking an enzyme called acetylcholinesterase, which raises acetylcholine levels in the brain to help with memory. Lab studies suggest Arenaria rubra may block that same enzyme. So in theory, taking them together could stack their effects, giving you too much of a good thing.
What that could look like in real life is more of the classic cholinergic side effects you already watch for with donepezil: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, extra saliva or sweating, and a slower heartbeat. Keep in mind this warning comes from test-tube data, not human studies, so it's more caution than proven danger. Still, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them, and don't change your patch on your own.
