Here's the concern with pairing these two. Asarabacca often carries traces of aristolochic acid, a compound that can seriously harm the kidneys. Fenoprofen (Nalfon) is an NSAID, and NSAIDs can also stress the kidneys, especially with regular use, in older folks, or in anyone who is dehydrated or already has reduced kidney function. Put two kidney stressors together and the risk can stack up.

Watch for warning signs like swelling in the legs or feet, much less urine than usual, or unusual tiredness. Honestly, asarabacca isn't something I'd recommend at all because of the aristolochic acid issue. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before combining them, and don't change your fenoprofen on your own.
