Facening and Auranofin

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Auranofin and Facening in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Facening at all — not against Auranofin, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

From the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of the FDA label for Auranofin. Read the label on DailyMed › Facening’s licensed record lists no adverse effects our clinical vocabulary could match, so there is no Facening side to compare — that is a limit of the record, not a statement that Facening has no side effects.

“Auranofin (Ridaura) is a gold compound taken by mouth for rheumatoid arthritis, and its interaction list deserves real respect rather than a quick skim. Two patterns run through nearly everything on it.”

Facening: dosing

There is no established or recommended dose for "Facening," because we cannot confirm what it is. We cannot suggest any amount to take.If you have a specific product, do not assume a label dose is safe or accurate. About Auranofin

What Is Auranofin Used For?

Brand name: Ridaura

Auranofin capsules — sold as both Ridaura and Auranofin — are used to manage active rheumatoid arthritis in adults. Specifically, they're for people whose arthritis hasn't improved enough with full doses of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) like ibuprofen or naproxen, or who couldn't tolerate those medicines.

It works best alongside a full treatment program — not as a stand-alone fix. It's important to know that it doesn't work quickly: you may not notice improvement for three to six months, and it cannot reverse joint or bone damage that has already occurred.
