No Known Interaction
The bottom line No known interaction

We found no known interaction between Lunasin and Omalizumab in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Lunasin and Omalizumab

We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.

No Known Interaction Found

We did not find a documented interaction between Omalizumab and Lunasin in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.

Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Lunasin at all — not against Omalizumab, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.

If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.

Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

What Lunasin Itself Has Been Linked To

This is not an interaction — nothing below involves Omalizumab. It is the side-effect record for Lunasin on its own, from the licensed Natural Medicines monograph. If something new turns up after you add Lunasin, this list is the first place to look.

Everything above comes from the Natural Medicines adverse-effect record for Lunasin — expand a row for the licensed statement it rests on. We read the ADVERSE REACTIONS section of Omalizumab’s FDA label too, and the two lists don’t meaningfully overlap — which is why no Omalizumab column appears here.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Omalizumab page

“None of the 53 supplements on file for omalizumab (Xolair) carries a major rating, so this is a list to read with steady attention rather than alarm. Xolair treats allergic asthma and chronic hives by calming part of the immune system, and every entry here pulls the other way: these are immune-stimulating products, echinacea and astrag…”

About Lunasin

What is Lunasin?

  • Cholesterol and heart health
  • General immune support
  • Antioxidant support
  • Anti-inflammatory support
  • Cancer-prevention interest (unproven)

Lunasin is a small protein (peptide) found naturally in soybeans and some other seeds and grains. Laboratory and animal studies suggest it may have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and cholesterol-related effects, but solid human evidence is very limited. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using a lunasin supplement.

Seeds (most studied in soybean) · Capsules, powders, and protein extracts (often soy-derived)

An interaction check asks whether these two react with each other — it does not ask whether Lunasin is a good idea for someone in your situation. Here is what our Lunasin record says about it on its own.

Lunasin: dosing

There is no established standard dose for lunasin supplements. The amounts used in research vary, and product labels differ from brand to brand. If you choose to try a product, follow the directions on the label and do not exceed them. Because quality and purity of supplements can vary, look for brands that use independent third-party testing.

About Omalizumab Injection

What Is Omalizumab Injection Used For?

Brand name: Xolair

Xolair is used for several allergy-driven conditions. It treats moderate to severe persistent asthma in adults and children 6 and older whose symptoms aren't controlled by inhaled steroids alone and who test positive for a year-round airborne allergen. It is also used as an add-on maintenance treatment for chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (ongoing sinus inflammation with polyp growths) in adults 18 and older who haven't responded well to nasal corticosteroids.

Xolair is also approved to reduce allergic reactions — including anaphylaxis — from accidental food exposure in adults and children aged 1 and older with IgE-mediated food allergy. It must be used alongside strict food avoidance, and it is not a substitute for emergency treatment like epinephrine. Finally, Xolair treats chronic spontaneous urticaria (persistent hives with no identified trigger) in adults and adolescents 12 and older who still have symptoms despite antihistamine treatment.
