Pellitory-of-the-wall + Naloxone
Naloxone brand names: Narcan, Zimhi, Rivive.
We found no known interaction between Pellitory-of-the-wall and Naloxone in our sources. Absence of a documented interaction is not the same as proven safety, and does not guarantee one does not exist. Do not start, stop, or change a medication or supplement based on this page; confirm with your pharmacist or doctor first.
Pellitory-of-the-wall and Naloxone
We checked these two against our interaction database. Here is what we found.
No Known Interaction Found
We did not find a documented interaction between Naloxone and Pellitory-of-the-wall in our sources. This does not guarantee that the combination is completely free of risk — there is often limited research on supplements and herbal products, especially around drug interactions.
Worth understanding: our licensed dataset holds no drug-interaction record for Pellitory-of-the-wall at all — not against Naloxone, and not against any other medication we track. This verdict therefore rests on the absence of any recorded data, not on research that looked at this combination and found nothing. We cannot rule an interaction out.
If you decide to take both, the practical routine is simple: add one new thing at a time and note the date you started it. If the combination is going to disagree with you, it usually shows in the first days to a couple of weeks — and a start date turns “I’ve been feeling off” into something a pharmacist can actually work with. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Always talk with your pharmacist or doctor before making changes to your medications or supplements, particularly if you take several medications or have an ongoing health condition.

See Every Supplement That Interacts With Naloxone
This page covers Pellitory-of-the-wall only. If you take other supplements — a multivitamin, a sleep aid, something for joints — the Naloxone page lists 3 supplements it has a documented interaction with, worst first, each one explained.
The most serious there right now: 1,4-butanediol (moderate), Gamma Butyrolactone (gbl) (moderate) and Gamma-hydroxybutyrate (ghb) (moderate).
By severity: 3 moderate.
From our pharmacist’s overview on the Naloxone page
“The list of supplements that interact with naloxone, the emergency spray or injection (Narcan, Zimhi, Rivive) that reverses opioid overdoses, is short and unusual. All three entries are forms of the same substance: gamma-hydroxybutyrate (GHB) and two chemicals the body converts into it, GBL and 1,4-butanediol.”

- Freshness: we automatically re-check this combination every week — this pair was last verified October 4, 2026. The Pellitory-of-the-wall and Naloxone records this page draws on were last updated July 10, 2026.
- What “no known interaction” means: no documented interaction in the sources above — not a guarantee of safety. Supplements are studied far less than prescription drugs, so we say exactly what the evidence supports, and nothing more.
About Pellitory-of-the-wall
What is Pellitory-of-the-wall?
- Urinary tract complaints
- Kidney and bladder stones
- Mild diuretic ('water pill') effect
- Cough and sore throat
- Minor wound care (traditional topical use)
Pellitory-of-the-wall is a wild plant traditionally used as a diuretic and for urinary and kidney complaints, but modern human studies are very limited and do not confirm these uses. It is best known as a strong allergen (its pollen triggers hay fever), so people prone to allergies should be careful. Talk to a pharmacist or doctor before using it.

About Naloxone Injection
What Is Naloxone Injection Used For?
Brand names: Narcan, Zimhi, Rivive
Naloxone hydrochloride injection is an opioid antagonist (a medicine that blocks opioids). One naloxone hydrochloride injection product is indicated for use by military personnel and chemical incident responders. It is for emergency treatment of patients 12 years and older when high-potency opioids such as fentanyl analogues are suspected to have been used as a chemical weapon.
That same product is also used as temporary prophylaxis (short-term prevention) of respiratory and/or central nervous system depression. This applies to military personnel and chemical incident responders entering an area contaminated with high-potency opioids.
Zimhi is a naloxone injection used for known or suspected opioid overdose with slowed breathing or central nervous system depression (extreme drowsiness or unresponsiveness). Its safety and effectiveness have been established in patients of all ages.
