For the ingredients we could check, the evidence is sparse. Black Reishi and Green Reishi are rated as possibly ineffective for lowering cholesterol (hyperlipidemia), and there's insufficient evidence to rate either for altitude sickness, Alzheimer disease, or athletic performance.
Chaga and Black Hoof Mushroom likewise have insufficient evidence for the conditions studied — cardiovascular disease, diabetes, COVID-19 (chaga), and COVID-19 (Black Hoof). We hold no effectiveness data for the remaining ingredients in this product.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Reishi mushroom extracts (Black, Green, and Tibetan White) are generally well tolerated short-term, but long-term safety isn't well studied. Common side effects include dizziness, dry mouth, itching, nausea, rash, and stomach upset; rare effects include insomnia and headache.
Some people may have respiratory allergies to reishi spores, causing sore throat and runny nose. Chaga is generally used in foods and teas but has limited human safety data; excessive consumption has been linked to kidney failure due to high oxalate levels.
Black Hoof Mushroom safety in humans is limited. Chinese Yew is highly toxic and can cause sudden death through cardiac arrest — symptoms include severe abdominal pain, vomiting, weakness, trembling, arrhythmias, and collapse within 30 to 90 minutes.
During pregnancy, Reishi and Chaga lack enough safety data and should be avoided. Bamboo supplement safety in pregnancy is also uncertain; concentrated extracts are not recommended.
The same applies to breastfeeding: Reishi, Chaga, and Black Hoof Mushroom all lack sufficient safety information for nursing. Chinese Yew is unsafe in both pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Among the remaining checked ingredients, Reishi Mushroom extracts (Black, Green, and Tibetan White varieties) interact with blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs), blood thinners (anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs), and diabetes medications (antidiabetes drugs) — all Moderate severity. High doses of reishi may increase bleeding risk, and concurrent use with blood pressure drugs might lower your blood pressure further.
Reishi's effects on blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes are inconsistent, but additive effects are theoretically possible.

Black Reishi Fruiting Body Extract, Wild
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, high doses of reishi mushroom might increase the risk of bleeding.
A dose of 1.5 grams daily of reishi mushroom does not seem to decrease platelet aggregation, but a higher dose of 3 grams daily does.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, reishi mushroom might have additive effects with antidiabetes drugs.
Animal research suggests that reishi mushroom decreases blood sugar. However, in patients with type 2 diabetes, taking reishi mushroom does not reduce fasting glucose levels, and its effects on glycated hemoglobin are inconsistent.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, concurrent use of reishi mushroom with antihypertensive drugs might increase the risk of hypotension.
Reishi mushroom has shown hypotensive activity in animal research. Clinical evidence suggests that reishi mushroom reduces blood pressure in some, but not all, patients with hypertension.
Siberian Chaga Fruiting Body Extract, Wild
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, chaga may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro and animal research suggests that chaga extract can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, taking chaga with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Animal research suggests that chaga might decrease blood glucose levels and increase insulin levels. This has not been reported in humans.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, chaga might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
In vitro research suggests that certain constituents of chaga stimulate immune function. This has not been reported in humans.
Black Hoof Mushroom Fruiting Body Extract, Wild
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, black hoof mushroom might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro, polysaccharides from black hoof mushroom grown in culture inhibit CYP1A2. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Cytochrome P450 2E1 (Cyp2E1) Substrates
Theoretically, black hoof mushroom might increase the levels and clinical effects of CYP2E1 substrates.
In vitro, polysaccharides from black hoof mushroom grown in culture inhibit CYP2E1. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, black hoof mushroom might reduce the effects of immunosuppressant medications.
In animal research, polysaccharides from black hoof mushroom and black hoof mushroom extract stimulate immune responses.
Bamboo Yellow Mushroom Fruiting Body Extract, Wild
Antithyroid Drugs
Theoretically, long-term bamboo use might increase the effects and adverse effects of antithyroid drugs, possibly leading to hypothyroidism.
Animal research suggests that long-term consumption of bamboo shoot can decrease thyroid peroxidase activity, as well as levels of thyroxine (T4) and triiodothyronine (T3). This effect has not yet been reported in humans.
